Stories from the field :
Adirampattinam is a village located in Tanjore district. The village is completely damaged due to Gaja and all the villagers are staying in community halls and government schools. People are using generators to charge their mobile phones to call out for help and connect with other nearby villages.Aid India team distributed family kits to all the people in Adirampattinam village. People are living under one roof and one person cooks for all of the villagers with the relief materials we have provided. They did not have proper utensils to cook as well. The damage is extremely high and dearth in food materials make people's life difficult.
