AID INDIA is a non-profit organization, founded in 1996, by a group of IIT and BITS alumni who quit corporate careers to work on various development initiatives. AID INDIA’s education initiative 'Eureka Child', where 'Eureka' represents the spirit of discovery, focuses primarily on education quality improvement programs in Tamilnadu.

Swetha is in class 8, studying in a govt school of a village in Tamilnadu. Swetha, her mother and two younger sisters were abandoned by her father 5 years back. Poverty made Swetha’s mother to work as a house maid at a distance city from their village. They reside with their grandmother, who is supportive to her daughter and grand children in spite of her old age.

Eureka Best Tutor Award 2016 held on 1st May 2016. The pillars of the Eureka program's success are the dedicated and hardworking village-level teachers of whom, more than 80% are young women, who take daily classes for these children in remote villages and schools in Tamil Nadu.

Eureka Little Creators 2016 - On April 10th, 2016, the State Level Little Creators event was held in Chennai where children from districts across Tamil Nadu participated. A total of 24 teams, who won the top prizes in their respective districts, took part in this grand event.
